Podere Sette Piagge is a beautiful farmhouse, situated close to the cliff of Orvieto. It was originally a post for the carters, who stopped here before tackling the final climb towards the historic centre. You can reach the historic centre in a few minutes, following the ancient Etruscan road that leads to Porta Soliana.
Adapted as a country house, the Tenuta is equipped with all comforts: the rooms, furnished with Orvieto handicrafts, have private bathroom, A/C, TV, Wi.fi, kettle. Some have a kitchenette. Outside there is a large swimming pool surrounded by century-old trees and aromatic plants.
A generous vegetable garden and an orchard provide us with vegetables for our kitchen and fruit for our delicious jams, while the chicken coop gives us fresh eggs daily, and the sheep provide milk for ricotta and pecorino cheese.
